My East Vs. West thread a while back was so successful that I figured I'd broaden my horizons!

Sure West coast people suck ass, with their little get togethers and their stripping threads and their nipples, but they are hands down better than Europeans! (Especially when they are mixed with us East Coasters)

East coasters primarily have to be considered "better" by default: they have to put up with you!


Oh and for the record, backwater places like Australia and Canada count as "Europe" in my mind. (I know Canada is attached to the US, but dayum! You can have them!)

Anyway, let's run it down...

In America we have American cheese! In Europe you have "brie" cheese (is that even a complete word? "Brie"? It looks funny (and tastes funnier (and I don't mean "funny ha ha")))

But the Europeans introduced us to good cheeses like provalone and mozerella. Pizza would suck without these. Then again, we get points for taking an italian pie and turning it into the cuisine that is pizza! Millions of college kids would starve if it weren't for this culinary delight.

In America, we have American Idol! In Europe you have Tatort.

But "American Idol" sucks like a Hoover. Seriously, thats the biggest crap to hit the airwaves since, oh, EVER! (oh, and it was actually a crappy British show first. Notice how none of the Europeans are jumping forth to claim Simon? They want us to keep him, along with that retarded fat guy and Paula "never could sing so why am I judging a talent contest" Abdul

In America, we have color-coded terror warnings! In Europe, you have Osama Bin Laden trying to cut a deal with you! What's the matter? Too scared to live in fear like us?? Wimps!

In America we have Amtrak! In Europe you have EuroRail!... alright that one's pretty even...

Well, I don't really think that you can compare Europe and America. The US is one huge country, while Europe is a friggin' continent. If we start debating which continent is best, we wind up losing since we have Canada! Sure, there are some sucky things in Europe, but they also have some truly groovy things as well! They don't have George W Bush (okay, maybe they do. But thats only because he keeps sticking his nose into other peoples business). They also don't have you, which gives them an edge. On the plus side, we've got CarrieLee, who could probably whip all their asses! (don't mess with them chicks from Boston!)
