Well, those who claim to be able to foretell the future, I have absolutely no time for and, in fact, they make me angry.
However I do have time for certain people who claim to harness the mind in ways applicable to the here and now. I didn't use to, but stuff has changed my mind. And before anyone's clever, yes I am aware of the paradox in that last paragraph! [This message was edited Thu Apr 15 6:34:51 2004 by TheFrog]

I believe very much in psychic and spiritual mediums.
Im very interested in the paranormal and have only seen these mediums at work on ghost hunting programs and as it would be very easy to fake a psychic on tv Im not quite sure what to make of them. In my experience, "psychics" who approach you are not legit. It's rude to be presumptuous like that. There are some people that have abilites to see future events, but they are still considered to be possibilities because nothing is written in stone.
Then there are people who are intuitive (like me) and can "read" or interpret tarot cards. The person being read for has to be open to the idea that this all works, or else it doesn't. It's funny, because I'll do a reading for myself if I'm worried about something and I ALWAYS get the answer I need to hear, even if I don't want to hear it. There are some really good books out there that help interpret the cards. I used to teach tarot reading classes at a metaphysical bookstore and I also used to read cards there. It's more like intuitive counseling. Like I said, there are some good books that explain what the cards mean in a more spiritual/psychological/emotional sense.
