4. One of my favorite artists is Bruce Springsteen (which always blows people's minds 'cause almost everything else I listen to is far left of mainstream).

5. I love reality TV.

In 8th grade I won a speech contest, subject being "How To Make The World A Better Place." Michael Jackson was quoted. I still include this on my resume as a way of ensuring that potential employers have a sense of humor.

I'm not very femme, I almost never wear skirts or dresses or girly shoes, I have a very dykey haircut. . .I don't even get along with women, generally, because I have so little in common with your average female. . .but I almost always have girly satin and/or lace underwear on, and I can hardly stand to leave the house if my bra and panties don't match. . . and I am addicted to lip gloss.

I played the violin for 6 years and was pretty good at it. I loved it and I probably could have done it professionally. I'm not exactly sure why I stopped.

I want to be a doctor. Probably a neurologist. It's the only thing I can think of that I would like to be trained to do and spend my time on even if nobody ever paid me for it, which makes me think it's a good career choice. Happiness is paramount.

When I was a kid, I desperately wanted to be black. I was this little middle-class suburban kid so pale I couldn't even tan, and I just thought that black folks were so majestic and beautiful and powerful. . .so I tried to convince myself that my thick, dark, coarse hair was evidence of my African ancestry. I was such a dork.

I have multiple college degrees but don't really use them. On a related note I am very proud of finishing college on my own without loans, grants or my parents which is why I have no time for people who say they can't afford to go to college.

I actually grew to love TRC after bashing it for a year or longer.

I love to buy things on clearance. This means I buy a lot of clothes out of season

I have been dating fellow orger RaspberryWoman for nearly two years and am very happy. If you knew me and her you would find this surprising

2. I organize a Christmas Toy drive every Xmas for local charities

3. I still have my 4 best friends from Primary School, My best friend has known me since we were 7.
