How's this for security? everytime i get a plane ticket, i always give the correct spelling of my surname. my passport has the incorrect spelling (a long story and i can't be bothered to get it changed until the passport expires). anyway, they always ask me at the ticket desk why i have different spellings of my surname on my ticket and my passport. i tell them and then they always let me thru.
the other day i went to the department of motor vehicles to get my driver's license renewed and this friggin' woman wouldn't change the spelling of my last name to how it should be cuz my passport says it one way which is the wrong way. WTF!? the airlines let me thru but the DMV won't? jeezuz! i tell you.....

Sounds a little like the experience I had with my previous passport - somehow they issued it without my two middle names and with 'Ben' instead of 'Benjamin'. It turned out to be a right pain when I needed proof of my full name. But it sped up form-filling at immigration points Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop.

Sounds like all the problems i had at the airport with my passport when I used my real-life full name, Osama Bin Laden. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.
