Why Can't People Stay The Same Even If they Become Multi-Millionaire Smashes?

Like why do they get all Groomed and all Clean and All Stuffy like now they Gotta Care? case in point...Madonna,Michael, Mariah. People Change so Much. Why can't the Original Image Stand? Whythe Change? Also, case in point ya Know i think Prince is Now who he Always was just that the Image was what Sold for Warner Brothers. So if we don't like him now well ya know what? We Never really did. He is Still the Same guy but I think he has Dropped that OTHER IMAGE... And ya Know what? Funny thing is he Still Sells out AREnas. So ya Know what? We Never Needed Prince to be Anything but who he Really was. We only needed him in a Suit and Playing Awesome music on his Guitar. He would Always be Cool. We would Always be there so He never Lost anything ever. No Charisma Really. It was just Marketing. Don't ya Agree that all Prince Ever needed was his Guitar and a Suit?

why do you think Prince is different than the other examples that you've mentioned?
I think that if we knew and liked all those others the way we do with Prince, we'd probably have the same opinion on them too.

And you can't stay the same when you become a multi-millionaire, because when you do become one, you can now afford to do whatever you wanted and be whomever you wanted to be and have time to try anything and everthing you've ever wanted.
Not to mention that if you're not used to all that money, it can easily drive you crazy.

Well, why do people gotta change and then Adhere to Societies Rules of what is Chic or something? Why can't a person who was one way as a teenager somehow change just cause they now are successful? It's rather sad ...Why should one change so much? Just cause of Money?

Perhaps a lot of people change out of choice? They might like where they're going, or it could just be a natural progression as people get older. It doesn't have to be the money that has changed them. People grow up and change even without their million dollars.
Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop.

They don't just change because of money, they change with time, like everybody does. they grow up, the enviroment changes, and they're able to put their mind into other things now hat money is no problem to them.
There are very few people who will not change even if they become filthy rich.

Wouldn't you change if you had all that money? wouldn't you start doing things you haven't done before? maybe it's not a change, it's just that now you can afford doing it.

There's a difference between persuing a different lifestyle and changing as far as personality goes. I believe your true character never changes. You don't become an asshole just because you can afford to be one. You've always been asshole, you just used to be a two faced asshole.

edit: typo

uuuh people evolve.

i think when you achieve a certain status, you have to be more stand off-ish. I mean, people get stank, but evolving is a part of life. I've found that a few people who used to be in my circle think I've turned "funny". It's a part of life, a lot of folks that you run with aren't on your level after a certain point. It's a fact of life.

I still will kill a box of bojangles, and have a shi shi fu fu dinner the next when the occasion arises. Don't hate on folks who act brand new...a lot of them have to.

But, philanthropy is neccessary when success is obtained, though

So do ya Know what the People from the Old Glam Slam in Minnie told me? They call it the QUEST now. They Said and this was from a Bartender that Prince would NEVER go There anymore Cause he is a SNOB who doesn't Mingle with like the Rap Genre. This was when Ludicris and some Punk groups and Kelly Osbourne was there. I looked at them when they said this to me.

Actually that's not the main reason. Secondly, there's just too much drama in the rap world. I don't blame him for keeping a distance. biggrin
