I'll for you, but I love my man... Don't want to be single
I hope you get through whatever is going on and that you are happy.

I hope you get through whatever is going on and that you are happy. Thanks sweetie but it is truly time to get off this ferris wheel. I want to be single again so that I can give more time & energy to my label and my craft. I walk into the studio and am just so drained that I walk out and close the door. Anyone who can take that much out of me IS NOT THE ONE. And it's not like I'm not giving 100%. I'm giving 140 and this is the problem. That 60% ain't enough. Yet when I try to leave it's drama. It is possible... loving someone so much that you can't leave them. I mean who wants to break anyone's heart. Aargh... Why am I so nice I'm going now to pull out my FMT remake of Fifty Ways To Leave Your Lover.

Depends on your age. I'd say if you are over 25 don't leave her! Stick with all you can, while you can, and as desperately as you can. She might not be the perfect companion for you, but you don't want to end up as one of those miserable 40-year-olds who have nothing better to do than twiddle with Kazaa.

Who says you can't find true love after 40.. look at Prince and Madonna. And besides, staying with someone for fear of being alone is bad I have a ways to go before the big 4-0. I can't even see that far down the line but I feel where ya comin' from.

Marc, sounds like you've made your decision already. Don't worry about nice -- if something isn't working, and you've tried your best -- remove yourself from the situation. Sounds like it's someone else's drama production anyway.

Sometimes I'm glad I'm single and sometimes I'm not. Just depends on what day it is, what I'm doing, and what mood I'm in. However, I must say that I enjoy being drama free.

Good luck cutting the cord - it's so hard to do, but when you get that freedom back? Deeep breath. Sigh. Smile.
Relationships are always a lot of work, but they should never feel like a task or a job. Deep down, you know when it's worth sticking through or passing on, and it sounds like you know what's up on the inside.

As someone earlier stated, being single definitely has its advantages. I'm 41 and have never been married yet, in part because I'm picky and moreso because I have not found my true soulmate yet. But I know when the time is right, it will happen. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Single life is great. Get laid whenever possible. "You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." "

codependent much? nothing is more pathetic than someone who stays with another just because they're scared of being single.
