MOVIES YOU HATE(OR STRONGLY DISLIKE)

OK FELLOW ORGERS!

we all know all the songs we dont like..last weekend i went to see the passion of the christ to see what the fanfare was about and...I WALKED OUT!...there is a difference between genuine
repentance(like i felt when i saw THE GOSPEL OF JOHN) and repulsion and that movie left me feeling sick to my stomach eek

to me here's a list of some movies that were awful:

1 THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST.
2 GANGS OF NEW YORK.
3 HOLLYWOOD HOMICIDE.
4HALF PAST DEAD.
5BRUCE ALMIGHTY.
6THE MATRIX REVOLUTIONS(KNUCKLE UP....NOT!) confused

anybody else got a movie (or movies)they cant stand? biggrin

Pearl Harbour - I can't sit through this and at any point think wow this is a good film.
Snatch and the other one by Guy Ritchie (pants mockney shite)
plus plenty of others I can't think of right now!
JaneyPoos used to be it... then they changed what it was. Now what I am isn't it and what is it is strange and frightening to me...

The Adventures of Ford Fairlane. Talk about a vanity film! Speaking of Vanity films, I don't like 52 Pick-up either

well, one movie i dislike and love for the same reasons:

'revelation' it's a so-called 'horro' movie about a holy relic, and the search for this relic. it's so badly written and filmed it makes me wonder how the producers ever got funding.

on the other hand, whenever i want to fall asleep all i have to do is pop that sucker in. .. presto! instant boredom and drowsiness

I think it's really funny that the google ads for your thread are all for the Matrix or Matrix related products
lol

But to answer your question: I really disliked Magnolia. I know lots of people loved that movie, but I wanted my time back.

Final cut
Urban legend
Hollow man
The avengers (i actually slept most of the way though that at the cinema)
Cabin Fever
Anything with Van Damme, Stallone or those other macho guys who cant act
Wow theres so many i really cant be bothered to list them but generally i really despise these little-girl/boy-lost then find thier way to fame/happiness/college/dream job etc etc movies with the hip hop or rnb soundtracks, it like im watching the same movie over and over, i dont know why i keep watching them, i guess im hoping for another menace to society or boyz in the hood or just a touching movie to come along lol

I loved Hannibal! I was hoping that there would be more of a love story though, the imagery used in the movie was kinda deep. If you read the book then you'd probably agree that Hannibal was a much better adaption than Silence, some of the stupid side stories in Hannibal just ruined the story but the movie just picked out the best bits, so yeah the film was over hyped but Ridley Scott really did not have a lot to work on, silence virtually follows the book exactly so i dont think the movies that great, I'd say Red Dragon was the worst simply for ralph fienes (sp?) portrayal of the dragon, ed norton was great though.

Well, I'd say anything with Vin Diesel in it. However, I've come to the conclusion that I should take such films a bit more tongue in cheek. I think all men should aspire to being a bit more like Vin Diesel.

Well i was trapped between two very scary looking people in the cinema, so i had to watch it. And it was shit. I hate that film more than any other film ever made, except possibly Tomb Raider. And that had one plus in the form of AJ.

Good to see there are others that dislike that vomit-coloured piece of shite which looked like the editor was on speed. disbelief
