Hell yeah I forgot about Spirited Away that is a fantastic Manga/ Anime film!
I suddenly thought... Princess Monokes (sp?) is cool too  JaneyPoos used to be it... then they changed what it was. Now what I am isn't it and what is it is strange and frightening to me...

I have yet to see anything better than this anime. Stay away from the sequel though!!! Excellent storyline and animation. Look for the subtitled version, it's hard to take the overdubbed one seriously. | |

Here are my faves, so far. I know that I haven't even SCRATCHED the surface of anime, and I also know that my choices are borderline "mainstream" (so bear with me):
• Akira • Cowboy Bebop • Ghost In The Shell • Ninja Scroll • Neon Genesis/Evangelion (although I admit I didn't finish watching the series) • Princess Mononoke • Spirited Away Any suggestions what to watch/buy next? |

not a fan, really.
i find the plots to be non-existent. same for consistent character motivations. and they aren't paced well. it's all either quiet, contemplative scenes or really hyper. | |
