hey ...i've just had a fantastic 4 days partying hard with delores in palma, mallorca.

we had such fun.....shopping.....beachs.....driving around to the hidden coves(illegally i must add ) ...more shopping (mango we love you).....and then the dancing. hell did we dance. feet still got the blisters to prove it.
i supose partying with jamiroquoi did kinda make it more interesting..

the island it stunning....easter time is amazing..we saw the procession (thanks to the running commentry hon) and the architecture.

and it was sunny ....beautiful.

i've also suddenly got a major craving for ensaimadas

oh yes i so did.

didn't have much sleep....damn these spainards eat and sleep late.
we kinda had two roles....delo made sure we got to all the places of interest....great having a spanish speaker. everyone loved her - from the cafe owner to the belly dance shop sales assistant. you just GOTTA see these earrings she bought. small ain't the word
my role....to get us into the clubs ...being short and indian seemed to be a bit of a novelty in the town. del had to translate all the poetry the spanish men seemed to have memorised

and she liked the keyboard player from jamiraquai

every moment was like serendipity....nothing planned...everything amazing and special. nohing negative. And we hardly drank ...i took a bottle of champagne..and when we checked out there was still 3/4 of the bottle left

i suppose thats cos i ate so much..no more room for the drink

the ensaimadas are kinda like a mix between a doughnut and a croissant. very tasty. del seems to be the queen when it comes to eating these....the girls addicted ....and i'm sure she won't mind me saying!
those 5 boxes you took home del... ..i do not belive they were for your friends

she even taught me a bit of flamenco (shes very skilled at it)....so now i kinda do a mix of flamenso/samsa and indian classical in my moves.

as for the guys..well there were a lot of tall dark haired hunks in town..but to tell you the truth we were out there to relax and have fun together. and the poetry did get a little tiring after a while!!!

every thing in mango ..ok a dress (very short and bright orange), couple of cool tops, loads of costume jewerelly, brown heeled sandels (the ones thats gave me blisters after dancing for 4 hours), a few funky belts and then in the airport on the way home bought some v cool bags and purse. (i couldn't stop myself)

shopping can be so tiring...but so much fun.

Ok ok here I go with my shopping list: small arab belly dance earrings, black high heels shoes, cool and funky stripes dress, amazing green shirt (looks great with jeans), white and green skirt and fuchsia bag... I think that's all ... oh and 5 ensaimadas, one for Gloria and Nuria, another one for Jelen, another one for Claudia and two for me

And to think it all started with me stopped by the police at the dock - LOL - my driving licence was out of date and Sneha had to come to drive my car... Sometimes it's better to be illegal than to risk your life - a british girl driving in the continent can be such a thrilling - ...just as much as it could be an ace when it comes to private areas in discos. People tried to go to Pachá VIP area and they all got spitted out of there - "Come on Sneha, Jamiroquai will be coming in minutes we have to get in..." Said and done... "Excuse me... shall we come in?" - in a sweet, soft and gentle whisper while her amazing gold necklace hypnotized him. Answer: "Please".

As for all of you english speakers don't you ever think that you need a translator to come to Palma. It was hard to find spanish people there, germans have occupied the island and british are trying to push them out - sometimes I thought I was somewhere else but Spain.
