I was reared in Alice Springs! (look it up, perverts  )
Australia is just about ALL coast, but Nooooo! I had to live smack dab in the middle of Van Dieman's land! Oh sure we use to drink our gunny sacks of ripple on the banks of the Todd river here in Alice Springs, and Oh sure our high school prom involved us thinking up slogans for drumming up interest in the Overland telegraph line that since 1870 snaked its way through our cherished drinking spots, but dam it we are as civilzed as those blokes in Broome or the Barossa valley, I tell you what!
