There are a few more that I forgot, in no particular order:
Welcome Back Kotter Martin (seasons 1-3, before they all started acting like buffoons) Roc (a terribly underappreciated sitcom) Night Court (a great one in its day) The Golden Girls (I said it. Those femmes were mad funny) Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016
Props will be withheld until the showing and proving has commenced. -- Aaron McGruder | |

THE COSBY SHOW!!!!! Rosanne, Seinfeld, and Cheers are right up there too. And I've enjoyed many an episode of Fresh Prince. I actually put the Cosby Show at No. 2. Fresh Prince was really funny at times. But back to the Cosby Show. It was the kind of show that portrayed the black family in the a purely positive, upwardly mobile light. And yet for all of its success, many in the black community still criticized it for being "unrealistic." I used to think to myself, "man, we can't ever be happy with a good show!"
