Anywaho, who's done their taxes already and who waits til the last minute? I'm always Republican come this time of year... Quick, someone brief me on the Laffer curve! | |

ok, chance for me to vent!
so we do our taxes, all in time and shit... getting a nice refund... so we're checking the website for an update, and it's saying they're direct depositing the money on 3/26. cool! on 3/27, we're getting a letter in the mail saying that there was a problem with the routing number, and that they would send a check... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . in 3 weeks! 
wtf?? if they could send us a friggin' letter, they could have sent us a check!!

I did my taxes in February and got my refund back the other day. I'm using it for the exciting purpose of paying off my credit card from Christmas (gifts, traveling, etc.).

time for regime change, methinks... Same thing happened to me, Martina, but I got my check in the same day's mail as the letter telling me I'd get it within 3 weeks. You'll probably get it soon. I don't know why they couldn't direct depost it into my savings account.  | |

I did mine early and have already got my refunds. Unfortunately, I also recieved a letter from the IRS saying I owe about $1000 in back taxes from 2002.

 I 4got as soon as I graduate ouhda high school I gotta pay taxes. Well @least 'til I start workin'(thinkin' of gettin' a job next summer or in my junior year) IRS sounds crucial Well ratha pay it than be thrown in jail. The clock is just tickin' 'til 2007 rolls around. yeah I did my taxes and expected a large chunk of money to be directly depostited into my savings... that large chunk had a bite taken out cuz apparently I owed some gov. agency says the state of cali so now I'm gonna have to investigate what the hell they arte talking about cuz I am all clear as far as I thought!!! the amount I did get back though has been half saved and the other half put into the pockets of the staples center people,as well as the pond, and the lil guy in heels.... prince toured at just the right time this year!!
