I've played the whole "I'll do/give anything..." game and I've ended up flattened more than once.
These days my daughter and I come first -- with zero apologies and damned few major compromises. If something naturally synchs, I'm open to loving and being loved with huge generosity and (some of) the challenges. But I TOTALLY no longer believe in being crucified to be crowned. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

I know this is way too much to do for love but you only live once.

Yes, I love my boyfriend so much it literally hurts sometimes when I'm not with him. I've done some craziness for the man in my life. Lost myself in his world and his goals and forgot about me. So, as a single woman pursuing her goals full throttle once again....HELL NO! I ain't doin shit! ha
But for real, love yourself my sister, first (Mary). no one should make you or ask you to do shit that compromises you. Now, if you or your other or anyone in your life needs help and is reciprocated and appreciated, then that's different. Can I say how great it is to be with a man who does NOTHING related to your career? Man, it's hard being a female trying to come up in a game and humoring the idea of a relationship...whatever....
