I have this dream too where I'm trying to wake up and I can't keep my eyes open. This usually happens when I'm taking a nap. I'm trying not to have a deep sleep and I'm struggling to wake up
I'll check in this, but from what I've learned about this, It usually means that your body is telling you to go to sleep and you don't want to for some reason

This is what I got: Maybe your subconsciousness has played a trick on you. It does that sometimes when it's bored. Sometimes dreams are created to annoy the dreamer. Whatever significance it may hold, perhaps the dream could be telling you to get more sleep. Drowsiness in dreams is an indication that you're either not sleeping well, or you actually woke up really sleepy. Did you look at a clock by any chance? If you did, what time was it?
