Throwing a party is more stressful to me than being
a virgin on your wedding night!
I'm no fun to be around BEFORE throwing a party...

this is a bit off topic but.. .. the best funny idea for a party i ever heard was the one described by my brother and his wife: a 'tacky' theme party. the idea was to be as tacky as possible. some of the guests came an hour early, some wore plaid and polka dots, some went around starting conversations with the words 'so...how much money do you make?', some rearrranged their hosts furniture, dampened the toothbrush, etc. i guess a pretty hilarious time was had by all.

Milty this sort of thing peeves me too.

What I tell people the party starts at 5, then they start showing up at 6 p.m. - which would be the ACTUAL party start time. It works!
