If you made an album... what would it sound like?
Mine would sound like a cross between Vanity and Gary Numan (does that sound like anything anyone would want to buy ). If it doesn't fit, it's ugly anyway.

like anyone would buy that shit YACK! Only people with taste. I wouldn't expect anyone owning a copy of 50cents Cd to understand what was happening harmonically, melodically or rhythmically. [This message was edited Tue Mar 30 23:46:56 2004 by sinisterpentatonic]

My album would sound like a mix between Dead Can Dance, Cream, Dream Factory-era Revolution and a Bjork production with some Baroque influence. Consider it pagan ecclesiastic funk on LSD.
...or VinaBlue's stuff. Whichever would sell get me more notoriety. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Right up my alley. I love the harpsichord and Vivaldi, the eastern influence on Dead Can Dance, The Revolution... We got the same taste. ...or VinaBlue's stuff. Whichever would sell get me more notoriety. Aaawwww! I'm trying to go for a Bjork-with-guitar, Depeche Mode-meets-Sade with some Nine Inch Nails-sprinkled-on-top kinda feel. Of course with a dash of strings here and bells there... Wish I had the money to hire musicians and producers to bring my ideas more to life.

It's be a cross between Prince, NIN, Can, Queens Of The Stone Age, Run DMC, Add (N) To X, Carl Craig, Sigur Ros, Alabama 3 and Billy Bragg. I'd go naked on the cover. "You know, you're the classic example of the inverse ratio between the size of the mouth and the size of the brain"

It would sound like a combination of Prince, Roger & Zapp, Stevie Wonder, The Time and all my other musical influences. It would most probably most sound like Prince/Roger & Zapp

I don't record anymore (although I still keep guitars around the house). But, if I was making an album today, it would sound like The Afghan Whigs circa the record 1965 'cause - now that they're defunct - there just ain't enough wicked, sexified, hard-rockin' music 'round like that anymore.
