The Warriors - A cult classic!!!!! I was watching this movie this morning and felt inspired to create a thread about this classic cult pick. Walter Hill must be very proud of his creation. It's about gang life in New York City with a colorful cast of characters. All the Warriors want is to get to their home turf. Anyways, I highly recommend this if you're into action-packed, campy, dark styled flick. Or if you're feeling nostalgic about life in New York in the late 70's, this would be the one to watch.

This movie is a great take on the Odyssey. I never realized that it was directed by Walter Hill - thanks for the info. *****************************************

i just got a copy of the warriors on dvd not too long ago. i love this movie...the funniest part is when the warriors met the orphans, and the orphans were all like, "you don't wanna mess with us!" and they were like just this bunch of wussies... 
i seen a couple of guys dressed up as a couple members of the baseball furies last year at the halloween party at first avenue.  | |
