I liked Storm of the Century, although that was made for TV anyway. Didn't they make one based on Rose Madder as well? I LOVED Creepshow though. Pure camp. My best are The Shining, Misery.
My worst are The Tommyknockers and absolute worst ... The Stand - without question the most boring 6 hours of my life so far. :shudder: Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

His best book is Pet Semetary, which is, ironically, the worst film adaptation of his work. I also love (bookwise) The Dark Half, The Green Mile, Misery and Needful Things
Dark Half was a mediocre film, GM was good, Misery was decent, and NT sucked ass! "The Shining" was a fantastic film, even though its not a very accurate adaptation. Same goes for De Palma's "Carrie". "Maximum Overdrive" was a steaming pile of dog turds, as was "Salem's Lot" (which is getting re-made this year). _____ [This message was edited Thu Mar 11 6:03:21 2004 by JediMaster] Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. I haven't seen anything like all of these.
Carrie and the Shining are, for me, easily the best. Misery close by. I found Dolores Clairbourne shit. And i thought that was a great book.
