People have a way of reminding me just how old I am getting...

I don't think that way, so to heck with them.

i do sometimes forget, and it didn't start to happen until I hit thirty. eek

actually, I think it has more to do with me not caring about age anymore. When I was in my 20's, I was definitely obsessed with age and hated the idea of getting older. Turning 29 was really difficult. So difficult that it inspired me to get off my ass and move to L.A. to start the life I've always wanted. Then when I turned 30, I just didn't care anymore!
let me come over it's a beautiful day to play with you in the dark

Let me stay on topic then.

YES! I keep forgetting ALL OF THE TIME. I just turned 33, but I did not celebrate cuz my mum was ill.

So I skipped a birthday, but I keep telling people I am 34...

I am such a doofus. I just do not think age is important. I have a Peter Pan complex anyway.

Me too! For me, I think it's a denial thing. Like, no way, can I be 32? Then I think of the year I was born, and count. 72, 82, 92, 02... DAMN!

Ok, so that makes me 31 until September, right? confuse

lol

I went to a club a few weekends ago and was asked by the bouncer my age. I couldn't remember. I was like "19... no wait... 20... wait... hey guys, how old am I??" I haven't been carded since I got here last September so I totally forgot. In the end I had to show the guy some ID so he wouldn't think I was nuts.

nuts
