THE GREAT DEBATE! Family Guy, Futurama and Simpsons...

Ok folks, roll up, roll up and tell me your favourites (if you can be arsed!)

Give me an order perhaps, maybe a favourite character or whatever... go on go nuts!

1) Futurama (Has to be really), fave character's Zoidberg!

2) Family Guy (Fantastic stuff), fave character's Peter

3) Simpsons, fave characters are Moe, Wiggum and Homer

Come on guys and dolls don't be shy...
JaneyPoos used to be it... then they changed what it was. Now what I am isn't it and what is it is strange and frightening to me...

My favourite has to be the Simpsons, its one of the few programmes that you can watch back to back over and over, i can watch the same repeat a dozen times without even getting bored. my favourite characters are Lisa, Smithers and Ralph. I cant wait for the simpsons movie, I'll be in my early/mid twenties when it does finally come out but i know i'll still go watch it on the first day of release

Futurama really grew on me, i like the robot (i cant remember his name) the episode where hes human for a day was really funny. Not quite keen as i am for the simpsons but its still funny.

I never could get into Family guy, ive watched a bit of an episode or so but it didnt realyl appeal to me, friendskeep telling me to check it out so next time its on i definatley will.

lines like this....

Peter Griffin: I've been watching television so much the shows are starting to run together.
Announcer: And now, Homicide: Life on Sesame Street.
Answering phone
Ernie: Bert, I wish you wouldn't drink so much, Bert.
Bert: Well, Ernie, I wish you wouldn't eat cookies in the DAMN BED.
Ernie: Bert, you're shouting again, Bert.

The Jetsons parody
Jane: Oh my God. George.
After being on the dog walker
Elroy: Yeah, you...
George: Go to your room, Elroy.
Elroy: But...
George: GO TO YOUR ROOM. For 45 minutes I was out there screaming. I know that because my damn watch is broken.
Jane: I'm sorry.
George: Oh 'I'm sorry, I'm sorry, Jane is sorry', I could've been killed.

Peter Griffin: Joe, I've had new neighbors before but none of them were half the man you are. And since you're half a man already, that splits them into some kind of fraction I can't even measure.

Brian and Stewie are on a German tour bus
German Tour Guide: You vill find more on Germany's contributions to ze arts in ze pamphlets ve have provided.
Brian Griffin: Yeah, about your pamphlet... uh, I'm not seeing anything about German history between 1939 and 1945. There's just a big gap.
: Everyone vas on vacation. On your left is Munich's first city hall, erected in 15...
Brian Griffin: Wait, what are you talking about? Germany invaded Poland in 1939 and...
: We were invited. Punch vas served. Check vit Poland.
Brian Griffin: You can't just ignore those years. Thomas Mann fled to America because of Nazism's stranglehold on Germany.
: Nope, nope. He left to manage a Dairy Queen.
Brian Griffin: A Dairy Queen? That's preposterous.
throws his hand up in a Hitler salute
Brian Griffin: :... uh, is that a beer hall?
Tour guide: Oh yes, Munich is renowned for its historic beer halls.

falloff

I never could get into Family guy, ive watched a bit of an episode or so but it didnt realyl appeal to me, friendskeep telling me to check it out so next time its on i definatley will.

Ahh I'm afraid Simpsons fell short in my opinion in comparison to the others because in England on BBC2 they generally show the same episodes over and over and over again... one their especially keen on repeating is the mini-golf episode with one of the Flanders kids and Bart. I do love Simpsons when its a new episode though but I still prefer Futurama and Family Guy.

You'll find with Family Guy that it can be abit hit and miss (in my opinion at least) you either get a really funny one or and alright one its mainly the former though!
JaneyPoos used to be it... then they changed what it was. Now what I am isn't it and what is it is strange and frightening to me...

Oh yeah I knew that Id seen the picture somewhere, i havent played hitman yet actually sad in fact its been awhile since i played games in general (exam time),plus Im the only girl i know into games so i cant drag any friends to the arcades either, but over summer when im out of college i will be catching up for sure, im kinda addicted to Max Payne and GTA 3 (its so much better than the other 3!) at the moment though, and since my playstation broke ive had to make use of my GBA (the silver flip one) but they dont have that many crime games, but the james boond games on there are quite cool but not really violent enough lol crime games are the best

1. The Simpsons: Irreverent, broad, biting, mean, smart, and sweet, sometimes all at the same time. Arguably the greatest comedy in TV history.

2. Family Guy: Feels like the Rolling Stones to The Simpsons' Beatles.

3. Futurama's a distant third. Never really felt it.
