remember back in the day when all you looked forward to were the classic characters that came on early saturday mornings?




Here's one of my favourite dudes..

i don't remember ever having Saturday morning cartoons growing up in Germany... what a deprived child i was!!

we did have a couple of cool Sunday morning programs (lol - what heathens!)



my favorite kids show was Loewenzahn... (not a cartoon, but i loved it)



maybe some other German orgers can enlighten me... i do remember US cartoons being shown over there, but i can't remember at what time... early evening maybe? (keep in mind, i'm old as dirt - we're talking pre-cable here!)

yes i remember that one too.

i also remember that in DER MAUS they didn't speak.

and i remember that they had an elefant in the german SESAMESTREET and we in the netherlands didn't.

Saturday mornings I looked forward to watching the Bugs Bunny Road Runner Hour and. I like Bugs Bunny, Marvin the Martian and the rest, except for porky pig and daffy duck.

My avatar is my fav. old cartoon. But after that I'd have to go with Scoobie Doo and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Ohh I almost forgot Astroboy and The Little Prince!!!!!

oh my goodness! of course we had a janky oven so parts of my shrinky dinks were too hard and curled up while the others were just fine. remember having to draw on them?
