lord, this movie is so sad, its got to be the all time most romantic movie of all time for me, richard commin in that nasty ass factory dressed in all white, going to get the woman of his dreams, love is such a beautiful thing to see, they really make ya feel it, great movie, but, now im sad, i want love too

Oh, and the bestest part is at the very end where Winger puts Gere's navy cap on her head and the film freezes and the last note of the song plays on that cue

"Mahogany," at the end, when Diana Ross is heckling a campaigning Billy Dee Williams as he makes a bunch of promises to voters at a rally:

"Mista!!! You gonna help me get my man back?"

It's sorta cheesy but I like it.

I love that movie too. So much so that I got it on DVD. It's a modern classic.

end of poltergeist...

dana freeling gets out of her boyfriends car with a huge hickey on her neck..she sees the house getting ready to implode and screams, "whats happening??? whats happening??"

Robbie, inside the car with his screaming family yells back, "just leave her...just leave her dad!!"

Dana jumps in the car with Robbie screaming, "the house is coming!! the house is coming!!"

que to the freeling family driving away from queste verde.....they walk up to their temp. home...a motel6....Father Steve upons the door while Diane carries young CarolAnne in her arms.....The entire family enters the room and the door shuts..Seconds later Steven opens the door and throws out the tv.....

end credits.....(till the final credit rolls when freaky sounding chorus of children giggle at the end of Jerry Goldsmith's kick arse score)...

That movie was okay. It was sad in some areas.

You know what movie is REALLY sad? Bram Stoker's Dracula! I know I know, you're all saying, "What the hell is he talking about?" but think about it. Mina and Dracula obviously have some kind of love bond that has almost been predetermined. Dracula has waited HUNDREDS of years to find this woman only to realize that he can't have her. To me that is one of the saddest things I have ever seen...
