Most of my dreams appear very realistic, and/or have a bit of a film-like visual quality to them. Last night I had a dream that had a very "video" look quality -- kind of like an old sitcom, ya know?

I sometimes have very stylized dreams. I make a great cinematographer in my head. It's little things like, I don't know, like how in The Cook, the Thief, his Wife and her Lover when the characters moved from room to room all the colors changed (costumes, everything). Or just it flows like a movie. Like one minute you're eating breakfast then it cuts to the errand you're running at the post office, but not in a dream way, in a cut-to-the-next-scene way.

I dream as if what I'm dreaming is really happening. No effects, nothing really different than how I see things with my eyes . . .

Now, I DO fly and breathe underwater in my dreams!

I also dream in color, and remember them in the morning. I've thought about keeping a journal of dreams, but I doubt I'd keep up with it.

My dreams are completely lucid as everyday life, and I don't see weird unexplainable things in my dreams (dancing monkeys in a parking lot), which might make you think "ahh how boring" but at least I know what my dreams are telling me.

Once in a while though I'll have an out-of-body dream where I die and see my body from above !

I know that some people always see themselves in their dreams as if they are voyeurs watching things happen to a character that happens to be them?

My dreams are like a bad Paully Shore video.

They look like "real-life".

When I have flash-backs, which isn't very often, they're like a cheaply made video on that small film... 35mm is it?

Mine is like a bad slide show.
