Well, my cheap ass is finally taking the plunge this Friday and ordering Final Draft scriptwriting software, in hopes that it'll be just what I need to start putting ideas to paper without having to labor over formatting and piecing together "proper" scripts and whatnot.

Does anyone else around here use Final Draft? Do you find it easy to learn and use? Does having it help motivate you to crank out more ideas than you would otherwise?

I use Final Draft. It beats the shit out of using MS Word.

I've used Final draft, and another formatting software before that. They never got me writing any more than I did without them.

Yeah, figured as much...I style documents for a living, but that's the last thing I wanna do when I'm working on my own stuff. If nothing else, the software will be a fun toy to play with for a while.
