The trick, I've been told, is to sit with the shutter open, and only let go of the release once you see lightning...not the othe way around...that primarily works when it's dark out, obviously...lol Just set your apeture to something like f/16 or smaller, and do a long exposure (like 30 seconds) or even longer. The lightining bolt in that first photo sort of looks like it was created with Xenofex or some other plugin and composited into the pic. | |
