Yeah, that was a really heart-breaking comment. I have to be honest, I really didn't care for his monologue movies, but I was in favor of his dry wit and intelligence. I'm a big fan of Laurie Anderson and Talking Heads, and he collaborated with both of them - Laurie recorded a soundtrack for one of his films, and Gray had a significant role in the Heads' "True Stories" film (my favorite thing that I've seen Gray in to date). The guy was a great writer and definitely an important part of modern American artistry. It's really sad to see depression take someone with so much talent. | |
