graveyard shift: am I the only 1?

I am at work. Any other Vampires or night owls out there at work other than me? If so do you like the shift?

Thank god I only work during the day. I am only on night shift if my kids are sick. What sort of work do you do? Doctor, policeman?

I worked 11pm to 7am for 3 years straight (alone)...loved it at first, then it started to fuck with me.

Me too.

10:00pm to 6:30am, and mostly overtime, so it was more like 10 to 8:30 or 9. It sucked, especially during the summertime. I always felt like I was missing out on life. I have vowed to NEVER do it again.

Anxiety

I did graveyard shift for a while, but after a while I wasn't crazy about the vampire lifestyle...I like to see the sun too much, I spose. I still work nights, but I can at least get to bed by 1am if I wanna now. I'm just not a nine-to-five kinda guy, though...

I use to work in the ER grave shift and I loved it! I would so much rather sleep during the day than at nite. To me the days were longer then they are now working 8-6.
He calls me "Holi" cuz he says everyday w/ me is like a Holiday...

Not really but that is the goal. I work in a office setting and don't get to process crime scenes. Mostly paperwork, kinda boring but I have seen some famous celebrities fingerprints--that was interesting.

I worked the 11pm ~ 7am shift for about 7 years....shocked

It wasn't bad for a single man, but once I got married, I needed
to get off that shift. I liked getting off in the morning and heading
right to the bar for a budweiser and some pool with the fellas.
That shift seemed to go by so much faster than the 7-3pm shift.
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

I work loading trucks from 3:30am till about 9am. It's definitely not glamorous, but it's about all I could find here. I like being awake at night but I have a hard time sleeping during the day. I hate sleeping so much, but I can't skate by eithout it un4tunately. Although I have heard that an hour of sleep under hypnosis is quivalent to 8 hours of regular sleep because the hypnosis sleep is more restful. Anyone else ever heard this?
