I've only had this dream twice, a few months after he passed last year. ok, here you go: There are two schools of thought regarding this type of dream. One is that it is an expression of the dreamer's desire to stay in contact with the deceased. The other is that it is a visitation dream in which the deceased is contacting the dreamer. Among visitation dreams, there are usually two types. One is when the deceased wants to reassure and say goodbye to the dreamer. The other is when the deceased wants to help resolve issues the dreamer has regarding the relationship with the deceased. Visitation dreams are distinguished by the dreamer truly feeling the presence of the deceased, and are sometimes void of allegorical and episodic content, particularly in the case of reassurance and 'goodbye' dreams.

I dream that my best friend is calling me, but not by my name. She uses words like bitch and skank in my dream. Should I be afraid? Also, in my dreams, I am very mean (only in my dreams...) "She made me glad to be a man"

"Shanna"... Yes.
...And, this isn't the same, however, my daughter is the only one (so I've been told) who can, softly even, actually say my name and/or speak to me and wake me from a "deep" sleep immediately..."Mommy"... I have a friend who has sucked her thumb all of her life, and most of us know, to wake her---pull her thumb out of her mouth...It's kinda like that for me---"Chanel, wake your mom, please."...lol...And, if she's not there to do so, it may take a moment for anyone else to do.
