I dont even know what gristle is. I can't imagine thinking that anything resembling a severed thumb would look right in a salad. | |

One time a friend of mine was brought over some vegetables fresh from her neighbors garden and she didn't wash those vegies good enough because when she got to the bottom of her lucious salad there were rolly pollies, beetles and a slug!!!

These are the ONLY bugs I do not like (except maybe for centipedes) 
They call them Sow Bugs as well. I remember we had to do experiments on them in high school, and I refused to do it.
They're the ones that are always in dark, wet places likes under rocks and in the basement. Oh, and the Discovery Channel rocks!
