I hope that his new flick does not get blindsided by the previous Ben-Jennifer pairing Gigli curse. Kevin it is presumed really got great performances out of Jennifer ( who is not a huge part of the movie anyways) and Affleck. If anyone can make Affleck more bearable its Kevin. He brought out his best performances in my opinion ( best was Chasing Amy). Somewhere online there is a Jersey Girl trailer. Smith has also went on record to state that this was his most "grown up" film" aka his best writing.

I like Kevin Smith's movies....I hope it's good too.

Jlo is hardly a big part in the movie at all its'a a story between liv tyler and ben.

I just can't stand Ben Affleck.

I'm not too worried, since they've pretty much removed JLo from the ad campaign altogether. They're playing up Liv much more, and that's a smart move.

Next up: Kevin Smith has been tapped to write and direct the big screen version of The Green Hornet. Who do you think should play Kato?

I can't wait to see Jersey Girl. The trailer looked funny. Last year Kevin went on the Howard Stern show and played a clip of Ben and J-Lo from the movie. Ben sounded good but J-Lo sounded pretty bad. The more they cut of her out of the movie the better.
