to watch the oscars.....ended at 5.30am in the UK. firstt ime i've done it.....figured sod it..got the day of on mon...lemme see what the fuss is all about.

who else thought that the jonathon ross commentery was awful.
i cringed everytime ronny anconna spoke.

i thought billy crystal was hilarouis.....his songs at the beginning...fantastic.

Frocks were nice ..althought dunno what uma thurman was wearing. Tom cruise looked a stud. Nicole kidman.....a little thin but hey nice enough.
Charlise Theron....stunning.

and there seems to be WAY too many big bows att he back of the dresses this year....not nice.

Its a but gushy isn't it..and it is really amazing how much we idoloise the film industry and its actors. I kinda can't belive that they are not acting all the time. sean penn though.....i felt he was totally overwhelmed by it all bless him. bill murray probably should have won.....damn he looked pissed...lol

now i'm gonna go and watch all them ovies cos i ain't seen any of em ...lol

I dont know why u guys bothered staying up all night 2 watch a lot of boring film stars collect a bunch of awards!!!

I personally am not at all over-awed by the movie Industry!!

I was up too..Here in Irael it finished around 07:00.....then i went to sleep till 11:20....And i am exhausted.....Aint no cure for the OscarTime Blues.....

I was up all night. I fell asleep on my sofa and woke up at 1:30 a.m. , I brushed my teeth, took a shower and went back to bed. I think I was exhausted.

I stayed up too, and it ended here in Holland at 6:30 a.m. But I watched the BBC commentary also and it was horrible! I can't believe I actually stayed up to watch it because I haven't watched the Oscars in about 7 years, and I also haven't even seen the majority of the films that were nominated.

I guess I just wanted to see what everyone was wearing mostly.

I was pretty bored with the fashion generally. Bored because almost everyone wore white, off-white, grey, or taupe. I thought I'd see more color. Renee Zellweger's dress looked like a giant piece of origami, and you're right about Uma Thurman. What the HELL was that???

What the hell IS this????




I think my favorite looks were Angelina Jolie (even though I've never cared for her) and I also liked Liv Tyler as well.





And Nicole Kidman did look really thin. I didn't like that choker she had on with that dress either because it made her look like a Kooky Spook. It really cut her body in two: the really thin body and then a head that looked huge compared to the rest of her.


Scarlett Johansson has this awful ill-fitting thing on. Horrible color.


Anyway, those are my shallow

I watched them at a normal civilzed hour, went to bed, had a good night's sleep, and awoke quite refreshed.
