Where are good places to stay (hotels) in MPLS. I need to book one soon for the begining of April. Thanks for help anyone can give me.

downtown, eh? i live downtown...if my apartment weren't so teensy i'd let ya stay with me for free so you wouldn't have to spend money on a hotel. there's quite a few hotels here downtown, so i dunno where to begin...depends on how much you're willing to spend, i suppose.

the hyatt is right where you want to be, downtown. you can get pretty much anywhere from there. but, plenty of sububrs have hotels too

I agree! (and you'll only be about 10 blocks from me. )

There isn't much for budget accomodation downtown, so if you need to save a few francs, staying on/near the U of M campus in Mpls isn't too far out of the way and has some cheaper rooms.

But I recommend the Hyatt.

I still think Paisley Park was a good idea.

PS- A few of us Mpls orgers are known to be nice and show people around, so if you're interested, by all means, let us know.

Thanks for all the advice...when I know my deffinate plans (cause my bro does not even know I am comming.....its a suprise hehe) I will let ya'll know. I would love to be shown around MPLS its been about 3 years since I have been there. So yes its been awhile and I know things have changed since I have been there.
