I can buy it right now on e-bay, but it's £100 which will certainly get me back in the dept trap for another month. What shall I do. I rarely see this on e-bay and £100 is actually quite reasonable for it! Should I get it? babe life it too short. simple pleasures make a world of difference. maybe you can do a deal with your bank to get a free overdraft up to a certain amount. they do iffer it you nkow...just ask em.i promise ya...banks want your business. debt can be such a dirty word but only if you are out of control. rare dvds...make the world go round

Anyway, i've made a deal with myself, it turns out i have a bit more $$$ than i thought i had and as long as i'm strict i can both get it and not go into the red. I'm thinking that I'll wait until the last day of the acution (someone might buy it first then thuss leaving me £100 better off), but if it's still there and i've managed my money well enough i'll grab it.

Kamille if you want to get out of that financial trap you have got to budget. If you don't have the money to buy something, then save up.

Thanks sweety. I know your right, and that is what i was going to do b4 i saw it 4 sale. The trouble is this is a very rare DVD. It's the second time ever that I've seen it for sale in England in all the time I've been lookin 4 it, and I've seen it being sold in the US for nearly twice as much on occasion. I'm budgeting really strickly now, i reckon I can save and get it as long as i don't make any other unessasary spends for the next 3 weeks. I reckon I can manage.... although I'm not best known for my financial skills!
Enter 'Prince balck album cd' into ebay and you usally see one or two avalible all the time for about £15 - £30, however this film has only apeared twice in over a year and I've never seen it go for less than £100. If I don't get it now I could be in for a long wait.... and only god knows how much it will cost me when i do. | |

that is exactly what i did. a second (part time) job makes you tired but can afford you some of the extra specials in life. you can use it to get the dvd (one of my favorites as well by the way) and even the plane ticket for yourself. save your dads return for another time when even the second job can't help you.
