It's Time To Play Another Exciting Game Of... "What The Hell Was I Thinking??"
Another illustration I drew a long time ago...got any ideas what exactly it was I was wanting to convey?? Cuz I don't... As usual, a title would also be appreciated... Thinking maybe I should call this game "What The Hell Was I Smokin'??"...

Kinda reminds me of the cover to Steely Dan's Countdown To Ecstasy album.

That's a very cool pic.
Somehow to me the plugs remind me of very small men with very long necks (heads just off the top of the screen), hovering over the other dudes. Really like it.

I feel it may show a representation of internal/external creations...
Representing the very key/vital aspect of the seperation of soul... even when internally combined, all is externally "one's own" being. The plug of life... is brief and in infinite time... that plug of direct connection/strength is disconnected, although has power to reconnect on brief yet continuous levels. That is why (I feel) we continuously search for "life connections", why it is a continuous journey to find power and strength to live. I believe that is why in life (beginning from conception and throughout our lifetime) we have those brief moments incredible "connected power"... although it is not meant to remain on a continuous level, for we are our own entity... and we must soley depend on our own inner strengths to surivive this life (first and foremost) and where it will all lead. Creation has been it's own... (you/me/all) from the moment two seperate components combined, so intricate... and hence neverending in process. (the cycle of life... continues) ~That is what I see/feel as I view this piece of work, Byron. (thank you)

Love that pic!
Somehow a little depressing though. Like technologies is ruling our lives. Or did you mean we should nurture our technologies for we created it? Maybe both, it looks like a circle of creating tech. and being fed by it. Anyway, maybe you can call it circle of technologie or som'tin.

Aww Byron I love it.....As an artist I can not draw worth and shit and if I do it takes me forever to complete something. I am to much of a perfectionist and when I draw I end up frustrated with more eraser marks then pencil lines. Good thing I know how to use a camera Its amazing to me how people can take the thougts in their mind and so easily convey them into pictures on paper. Wish I had the ability....its cool I am happy with my stick figures that have longer arms then legs
I it no matter what you were smoking when you did it Ok I am gonna quit rambling now. ps when will we see the next installment of "I stopped on my way to work to take this picture, I could not help it" I am excited to see the next episode

Thinking maybe I should call this game "What The Hell Was I Smokin'??"... A couple of things freak me out. One - the cord will be connected to their eyes. So they will be blind once they´re hooked up and electricity will flow into their heads, making them helpless and passive receptors. Besides, do they really want the electricity in the first place? ...which brings me to: Two - they seem to be smiling. Are they liking it? Why would they be liking it? I think the reason to why this freaks me out is that it makes me feel alienated. The majority are enjoying and taking for granted something that I fear or dislike, a situtation I´ve found myself in too many times in real life. I like the "pillows" they´re carrying though. They seem to be protecting and nurturing the pillows sort of like a parent would protect their baby. And at the same time they are depending on the nurturing power from above, in the form of the electrical cords. In that way I think it captures the dual roles we have as adults - being both protectors and in need of protection. Nice one, Byron.

Those aren't eyes...lol...they're sockets on top of their heads. This tells me that I really needed to learn how to draw better...lol I like the "pillows" they´re carrying though. Now I see what you intended. I just thought the eyes were their mouths and the sockets were eyes. Oh well... Now they´re not smiling anymore either so the whole thing looks less freaky - and I must say - a bit less interesting. Still, it´s a very nice picture. Please post more of your work.
