Spoorloos was way better than the american version both directed by the same director.....(George Sluizer and was the director of the uncompleted River Phoenix film, "Dark Blood". )
And i dont understand how Ben-Hur gave you nightmares....Maybe all the chariot scenes... lol

Doll With Sharp Teeth Terrorizes Pretty Actress with Big Teeth
Let's face it, the reason anybody remembers this film is because of the killer third segment, "Prey". This was adapted by Richard Matheson from his own short story, and it translates well to the small screen.Amelia is a slightly neurotic woman with some mother issues who buys a weird African hunting fetish for her boyfriend, a museum curator. The small wooden doll comes with a scroll that informs her that the doll contains the spirit of a genuine hunter named "He Who Kills", and that if the golden chain around its waist ever comes off, the doll will come to life. After a fight with her mother on the phone, Amelia storms off to take a bath and the chain falls off the doll. The rest of the segment is Amelia being stalked in her own apartment by the tiny predator, which she is only barely able to outsmart. However, it gets the last laugh. The puppet effects for the doll will either seem laughable to you or they will keep you awake at night, there seems to be no middle ground. The winner for the best shot is a toss-up between the doll sawing its way out of a closed suitcase, or the doll climbing out of Amelia's bathtub with the knife clenched between its teeth. It's a campy little film but it does manage to get some real chills. Recommended as a cure for a boring evening at home, preferably alone (it will seem less funny that way, trust me).

Has anyone here seen Tetsuo (1988) ?

.....Hugely recommended to fans of Japanese Horror (which by now has become a genre in its own right, such is the vast and brilliant output of horror movies that country has produced), and surrealistic .....The film itself is about an hour long, and could be described more like a music video rather than a film. Its very very strange, but very very interesting! It kept me mesmerized for the whole time it was on! Its not the sort of film you would want to show your Aunty if you follow me.....Talking of Distubing and Horrifying....Together, we can turn this fucking world to rust!

If you knew Jessica.... like i knew Jessica ....you'd want to scare her to death too.....a seance, vampires, a murdered antiques dealer and a town full of old men who look like geriatric extras from NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD.....The film is similar in tone to ROSEMARY'S BABY,

I just remembered anotha horrifying film i have seen when i was a kid in Brooklyn at the Leowes a film called "Berserk" with Joan Crawford and i had a chance to see it again last night after 30 years.....and i have to say it is simply brilliant because the script and acting is so overdone. It's filled with ridiculous one-liners that must have spent a long time on the reject pile before making it on screen and the best example of this is the scene right after the first murder, when the circus performers are theorizing amongst themselves. The acting is so cardboard that you can almost see them reading it off a cue card! haha! If that isn't bad enough, we're expected to believe that this really young hunk is falling for Joan Crawford! Her wardrobe is unbelievably tacky! She wears this off-emerald color that looks horrendous on her and has this blonde buffont going on! What's that all about? *Spoiler* At last we discover who sent the nail through Man #1's head (don't miss that part! It's priceless! I mean, it goes CLEAN THROUGH like a piece of wood!) and who sawed the girl in half. IT'S THE DAUGHTER!! I think they must have slapped the ending togther in five minutes. We don't know enough about the daughter to be shocked or care that she did it. One moment she comes home from her exclusive school because she got expelled and the next she is admitting the crimes and gets elctrocuted in the rainstorm! Excuse me, did I miss something in between? Maybe if their were more exposition of her character and family life it would make more sense, who knows. I guess she went.... BERSERK!!!!! hahahaha! Catch this if it ever comes on TV.

Child's Play - saw it when i was 12 and it still scares the crap out of me 17 years later.

Child's Play 3 simply because of the Jamie Bulger tragedy over a decade ago following the kids who watched it and then went to reenact, the stories surrounding that were stuff of real nightmares.

Childs Play is a well done horror, the acting was good, the storyline is good and there is also a bit of comedy. I watch it all the time. Not much gore but suspense is built up first. There were very little downpoints in this movie cursing quite often and slightly less violence this movie is a must-see for horror movie fans. Its popularity spawned 3 sequels Childs Play 2, Childs Play 3 and then Bride of Chucky, but I did not like them as much as the brilliant original. The music is rather tense and this movie will have you sitting on edge for most the way through.

Was also called ---> Child's Play 3: Look Who's Stalking
Watched this movie because I'd already seen Child's Play, Child's Play 2 and The Bride of Chucky. If you haven't seen this film yet, leave it like that. The most important reason is that I couldn't find a single scary moment... the beginning and the end are probably the most interesting parts!....Chucky is back. Stalking is only part of his game.

Don't forget the TV camp horror classic Trilogy of Terror w/ Karen Black.
