I saw Return of the King the other day and thought it sucked. Couldn't believe it had numbers all over the screen too.

LOTR RULES!!! ROTK ROCKED!!! If you didn't like it, you're a poo-poo head! Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

I loved the Lord of the Rings movies. Peter Jackson did an incredible job bringing a virtually
unfilmable novel to life on the big screen. I can't wait for the extended edition of Return of the King.

in that list suck, imo The Phantom Menace, and Jar Jar Binks was the greatest thing to ever happen to movies. It was shocking to see "adults" who have gone without showering/bathing, camping out in tents outside movie houses for three weeks gripping their Hasbro Lightsabres!I remember seeing one lost soul wearing a Vader helmet coming out of a red tent while driving home from work. What the hell?!?! That rastafarian-comedian-frog shook the geeks into reality: that this was a KIDS movie, and JUST a movie @ that! And on top of That- a not very GOOD kid's movie! Can you imagine how many lives would have been sacrificed to the Geek Black Hole if "Phantom Menace" lived up to all the geeks expectations? So thank you Jar Jar Binks-perhaps the most important fictional character in movie history! People slam him-but he did millions a service.Maybe that's why he's hated- Jar Jar forced nerds to wake up to reality! The Phantom Menace era was an embarassing display of what media/hype can make people do. Cheers! OwaaWaa!!

These films have given me so much pleasure and deep self connection to fundamental important issues that I had lost touch with prior to viewing. The acting, scenery, score, animation, special effects, story and related parallell meanings to everday life, have touched me in a way no other films have and I doubt, ever will again. Hail LOTR, King!!
