I just saw the movie for the first time this past weekend and since they cut away just before the scene, I thought maybe he didn't really do it. That's unreal...

I still haven't touched an egg since Friday....

that nasty ass movie...LOL...i remember watching it for the first time in such shock, heehee! i saw john waters speak at a gay and lesbian film festival quite a few years ago wherein he confirmed that divine most certainly did eat doggy doo doo! john was quite proud of catching this on film...he was like a proud father or something, lol.

now that you've seen his 'shock and awe' movie, go rent polyester! that's the best and most funny john waters movie, imo.

Anything he did before "Cry-Baby" is just brilliant, ya can't go wrong. He's had a couple of minor breakthroughs in the past couple of decades, too ("PUSSY WILLOW, Dottie!!!") so heck, I'd just say check 'em all out....but then again, I'm as big a Waters fanatic as I am a Prince freak, so I'm biased....

Yes, Divine was calling doctors for days after the filming trying to find out if he could have gotten any type of disease from eating dog shit. Great stuff.

Also, did you know the city of Orlando, FL has banned Pink Flamingos from being rented in any video store in the city? A company was caught renting it to a 14 year old girl not too long ago and was fined about $11K (I think).
