You do all know it's Grey Tuesday, don't you? OK, maybe wrong forum but I don't think the headline would work in Non Prince Music.
Today's Grey Tuesday. 100's of websites all over the world are offering Dangermouse's album "The Grey Album" to download in defiance of EMI's cease and desist order. "The Grey Album" uses the accapellas from Jay-Z's "The Black Album" and puts them over backing tracks created solely from samples off The Beatles "The White Album". The album was put out as 3,000 vinyl promos and a free download. The music industry lashed out with it's lawyers and now 100's of websites are either offering the album to download TODAY or going grey for the day in support.
