I'll be going under the laser beam for a little trim off my corneas!

The reshaping will take effect today at around 2:30pm, and will last approx. 4 minutes on each eye. Afterwhich, I will no longer have to wear glasses!

I should be in and out in under an hour. This will change my life as I know it... I've been wearing glasses since the fifth grade.

I'm very excited!

I'll let you know how it goes...

You will be so stoked tomorrow. I had it and my eyes burned like hell for about 24 hours. I wasn't happy I couldn't surf for a month either but it's worth it.

Waking up in the morning and seeing what time it is; getting sloted in the tube of a wave and not thinking about the 20 different contacts you lost; and then there is sex, what a difference this is.

Overall it's the freedom of not having little plastic things on your eyes or the problem with glasses getting in the way of things.

Good for you June7...I'm still doing the "contact~thing", and it does
get irritating after awhile. I'm curious as to how this turns out, I've
thought about doing this myself.
U're insurance covered it? I haven't looked into it yet.
