For me, it has 2 b my husband returning home from the USA, after having flown out there on a family emergency!!
Unfortunately, my mother in law died last Sunday!! But Joe, my husband, came back home feeling pretty upbeat considering!! He said that he was happier at seeing her while she was still alive than just seeing a long box knowing that she was inside there!!!

Lots of sitting around in waiting rooms and helping the family of a friend cope with a horrible tragedy that only becomes more unbearably sad nearly every day.

I met a guy last night and then 10 minutes later he dropped dead from a heart attack.
No lie. | |

Nice week for me.
There's been a few highlights, couldn't pick one:- Tuesday - Going to see Diana Rigg on stage in Tennessee William's "Suddenly Last Summer". Very dark but bloody good. Wednesday - Getting the new Can DVD. A few friends came round, we had a smoke and watched it. They'd never even heard of the band Can before and all of them were converts after watching the DVD Thursday - Getting pissed at a friends house as we all watched the latest episode of "Garth Marenghi's Darkplace" - very funny Friday - Going to see Northern Broadsides do their amazing new production of "The Merchant Of Venice" in their own theatre in the basement of a vast old mill complex. Saturday - Staying in with a friend, some beers and "Charlies Angels" DVD. Fun, fun fun. For me, it was flying back to Europe after having been away from home for three months. It feels really weird to be back. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

No lie. OMG... I'm not even sure what to say here... It was so awful Byron. This guy Adam says to me "Carrie I want you to meet someone very special to me, this is Styles". I started talking to him, he was a very funny and nice man, we were goofing and just small talking. I come back from a smoke and I look over and he's on the floor, face blue and tongue hanging out of his mouth. I can still see his face, and all his friends faces and tears as they watched the paramedics give him cpr and then use the defibulator (sp?) on him. They got a pulse back but once he was taken the hospital he was pronounced dead. I can't quite explain how I'm feeling from all of it. It brought back so many memories that I pushed deep down inside from my brother's ordeal. Yet I feel awful saying that because it has nothing to do with *me* ya know? It was a terrible thing to experience and I hope I never see it again. RIP Styles Bitchly [This message was edited Mon Feb 23 9:32:07 2004 by CarrieLee]

Moderator | Equal balance of good and bad
The week started off on a strange foot and I ended up getting injured at school on Friday but for the most part my week was very good. How are you Ardeo? In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |
