If you could have 6 celebrites, alive or dead attend your dinner party, then who would they be? Why?

Yeah, I know this is ripped off from that Anne Robinson BBC series but so what? I think it's a good question. If it's been done before in GD, I don't care - I didn't take part last time.





here are my choices:-

1. Shakespeare

The Jimi Hendrix of the pen. Who the hell was he? Every biography of his I've ever read has been bollocks.

2. Chris Morris

For my money, the funniest, cleverest bastard in Britain. Rarely gives interviews, intensely private, what's he really like? For those outside the UK, he's a viscous satirist. A writer, actor, director & musician. Check any file-sharing program and you'll get plenty of results. I particularly recommend his mickey take of The Pixes called "Motherbanger"

3. James Brown

The man. I bet he's got some tales to tell!

4.Jack Kerouac

When I imagine America, I see it through Kerouac's eyes. That's because I've never been and the most vivid descriptions I have are from him.

5. John Lydon

Some people liked Sid Vicious because he was the good looking one and died young. However, John for me was the witty and intelligent one. Take away his lyrics and the Sex Pistols would have been a pub rock band. I also love the early stuff with Public Image Ltd and hear it's influence a lot these days!


6. Prince
