Anyone remember the attempt by Speilberg to bring it to America? They had a pilot movie, but it tanked. It was actually in continuity of the BBC series though, so I gotta give them that. I just couldn't buy Eric Roberts as the Master.

Sorry folks, I was away on Metebelis 3 looking for something for a friend of mine... I've reversed the polarity of the neutron flow... Now to find a way to exterminate Melody Cool and Rosie Gaines...

Jon Pertwee was the BEST!
"Jo, remove your stockings forthwith!" "Jo, get in the back of Bessie!" As if the 3rd doctor and Jo weren't cooking up some hanky panky in the Tardis! He was a lover scorned in Jo's last episode-he was so pissed with her engagement he tore off in Bessie! Jon Pertwee was the BEST! The 3rd doctor was so snooty and acting all superior: "That is INCORRECT, Brigidier!" UNIT was his plaything during the day, and Jo at night! Or in Space! "That is INCORRECT, JO!...(sigh)...now remove those silly knickers!" Forget Tom Baker, JON PERTWEE IS THE DOCTOR! | |
