Movies I am looking forward to seeing in 2004...

- The Last Samurai
- Big Fish (saw the trailer for this last night with S.W.A.T. and it looks like Tim Burton is back to his best)
- School Of Rock (also saw this trailer and it looks very funny)
- Kill Bill Vol II (I missed Vol I so I am hoping they will re-release that around the same time)
- Along Came Polly (I love Ben Stiller although I am not too sure about the Starsky and Hutch remake)
- Van Helsing (I have seen some stills of this Hugh Jackman starrer and it looks promising)
- Troy (let's hope it isn't naff)
- Spider-Man 2
- Shrek 2
- The LadyKillers (one of my favourite all time films so I will have to see the re-make just to moan about how great the original Ealing comedy is)
- The Incredibles (the plot to this Pixar animation has great potential, it should be more Monsters Inc/Toy Story than Bug's Life/Finding Nemo - a good thing in my book)
- Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban (these movies have been good fun so far)

What about you guys?
Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.

This has all the potential to suck considering the director is going for a kiddy-friendly certificate.

Alexander the great seems to have a lot of hype about it, Im looking forward to seeing that anyway, i know theres another movie about alexander the great being made at the same time called 'alexander', well regardless im looking forward to the one which has colin farrel in.

Kill Bill 2 it was silly enough that this movie was split into two anyway but im still looking forward to seeing the finale.

it feels strange as for the last two years i'd be so eagerly anticipating the next lord of the rings movie having just watched the current movie during my christmas holiday, but now its all over sad

"The Passion Of The Christ"

seems like one of the most interesting movies to be
released in 2004.

Given the gospels and the texts which it is based
upon, it should be pretty good and controversial.

and also

"The Chronicles Of Riddick"

i'm very much looking forward to this since it stars
Judi Dench and therefore is bound to be good.

than again it also stars Vin Diesl rolleyes

Weaver HATES this one. She made Alien 4 to avoid them making this crap.

I love the original too! I didn't know they were making a re-make, I'll look out for it!

The Last Samurai

Ummm, you do know that The Last Samurai is out already, don't you??? lol Good movie, even though its highly derivitive.

Big Fish

Looking forward to this as well. Maybe this is his apology for Planet Of The Apes??

School Of Rock

Another one thats already out. Much funnier than I expected it to be.

Kill Bill Vol II(I missed Vol I so I am hoping they will re-release that around the same time)

Crap! Seek out a dollar-cinema or something!!! You have to see this!!!

Along Came Polly

This does look like it has potential to be quite funny. Unfortunately, it also looks like it could go the other way and truly suck! Here's hoping for the former.

Van Helsing

Wolverine vs Dracula, the Wolfman and Frankenstien's monster? How could this be bad???

Troy (let's hope it isn't naff)

What the hell does "naff" mean??? confuse

Spider-Man 2

Hands down, the movie I'm the most excited about in the coming year!!! This movie will rule!!!

Shrek 2

Loved the first, hope they don't fuck up the second!

The LadyKillers

Never seen the original, and I know nothing about the remake.

The Incredibles (the plot to this Pixar animation has great potential, it should be more Monsters Inc/Toy Story than Bug's Life/Finding Nemo - a good thing in my book)

WTF??? Finding Nemo totally ruled!!! This looks quite funny to me.

Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban

Well, in my opinion, this is where the books started to get darker (and thus, much more entertaining), so the movie will hopefully follow.

okay, that is either the funniest comment of the day, or the saddest... the original intent is questionable

Hell yeah! I'm looking forward to this one!

...and yes I already know what happens in it.
(I just couldn't resist reading the script.
