Even tho it starring Jenifer Lewis, the movie includes a large cast with big names like Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie O' Donnell and Patti Austin. Also, from seeing the reviews section in amazon, I can notice that it got raved highly.

Anybody have any idea about this movie? If so step in and tell me about it!

I'm kinda intrested,,,I love Miss Lewis(its really shocking to see her in a LEADING role by her own tho cuz she doesn't get much props as an actress even tho I think she highly deserves to).

i loved this movie! it was a robert townsend film that was actually made for lifetime (yeah, i know, that doesn't give you too much faith in the movie). the story is about a former pop diva who thinks she is still a pop diva...but hasn't been in the industry in years and burnt many bridges along the way out. there are so many cameos with people playing themselves and everyone is so funny. it is definitely politically incorrect and if your familiar woth robert townsend's style of commentary than you know what to expect from the movie.

hey...wasnt jennifer lewis at the Family Jamm? She walked up to me and caressed my shoulder... i sorta felt strange afterwards.. :O

It was good!! I first saw it as a late night ABC movie last year. Too bad it wasn't as popular as it should've been.
