He's very seriously ill at the moment, and I know that the family would appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers for him that you can muster.


I wouldn't recommend calling at the moment, it would be more appropriate within a few days time, as things are pretty hectic and the phones are busy much of the time, and even more time is spent tending to his care and needs. But please keep him and the family in your thoughts.


Nathan and Ian are wonderful boys, and his parents are just great people. His father is a truly kind, generous, smart man, and I hope you'll say a prayer for all of them or send them your regards.

Damn!! I am sort of in the same boat at the moment!! My family and I live in the UK right now, but my husband is American. Anyway, a week ago last Friday, we suddenly get a phone call from my husbands sister, telling us that my mother in law had a severe heart attack(she is an Alzheimers Diseae sufferer anyway). So, obviously, my husband felt compelled that he had 2 go and b with her as years ago he felt really bad, and it still haunts him, that he wasnt around when his dad died. So that weekend we were scrambling around trying 2 find cheap last minute tickets for him 2 fly over there(such as it is my parents had 2 pay for his flight, as we couldnt afford it). So, my husband flew out on the 3rd of this month 2 b with his family.
Anyway, 2 cut a long story short, he calls me on Monday 2 say that really considering my mother in laws age and deteriating health, they have really done all they can and that now it is really a matter of time now!! My husband may have 2 extend his stay over there!!

Nathan and Ians family are in my prayers as I know what they are going through!! It also can b very comforting to know that u r not the only one going through this type of thing, even though it may appear so at the time!!
