Who amongst us?

This was sent to me by a friend. I have pondered along those lines for days... So, let me answer to this now...



I have been convicted by Koolaid and his friends of racism. That charge would not hold up here, there or anywhere. I am guilty of the charge of guilt by association. I am equally charged with and more over guilty of turning a blind eye.
My prior stance is 2 fold:
1) I believe that I am to be judged for what I say or do. I have said not a solid thing here, there or anywhere that was racist or political or unkind. I have never stepped into anyone else's business Nor do I come to the net seeking political debate or argumentative stance. I have spent considerable time here and that is a known fact to those of you who know me at all. All the threads created by me were fun or silly and very recreational. Never did I create a thread or rarely did I enter into one that was based on any sort of rant. I debate such things enough in my day to day interaction. I do not come to the net for that. I am most guilty of Elise's remark of partymuse. That hit home. It is a truth.
2) I conduct my disagreements in private. Often I disagreed with many people. Many of you can attest to when I called into question something that was said and many can point to my sending a note of appreciation for what you have said. So not seeing my public protest to things written does not speak to my saying nothing and standing down as is alleged.

Many here come to be controversial. I have ignored bad behavior both here and there. For the life of me I cannot see where RD was exempt from his behavior. He turned and did similar to that which he detests. So who here has really learned any lesson at all?

That was as I said my prior stance. I have been forced to evaluate my position. It no longer holds water. It is unacceptable. Turning a blind eye is wrong. You see, I may have not opened those threads BUT I did have the sense to know that I would not want Deja or Maria or Byron and Julie to have seen that foolishness. Therefore, I had some inclination that should have led me to see that I should not have been there. I ignored it. I certainly didn't see Pej was remarked to be dragged behind a truck nor RD.

I will say I didn't figure that what was in those threads was to be more vile then the stuff that was spewed on the org in days gone by.

In no way am I faulting others that were there. Each of us must make a choice in life. Each of us and only each, can speak to their experience. I have no intention of speaking against individuals there anymore then here.

So what is it I am trying to do? Take personal accountability. I am sorry for any pain caused anyone. I have learned much from the experience. In the future I will stand greater for my value system. Many things said there were very wrong. I will pay closer attention to what I associate myself to. I will exert a greater influence publicly and not just hem an ha privately. No one should make comments like those be it public or not. For Karen it is just wrong. For me to have blown it off in Lou of my own format was also wrong.

I have always thought that you are very nice and I can't see you intentionally writing things to hurt anyone. You are very gifted and wise and many people could learn a thing or two by your demeanor.Your friend always.

First one's on me...

The truth prevails Karen, and you... have always been just that. If anyone feels different... they obviously have not a mind of their own (I strongly believe), but seemingly have been influenced by misconceptions and truths untold.

Nonetheless... I you, you have undoubtably been a beautiful friend/confident beyond any measures. Thank you, you have so much to give and I am certain much will be given in return.

It may sound simple to many but understand this, if one could step out on gut instinct as you did... Then I knew I had to take the time to evaluate my position. Well Karen I read what you have said. I believe you more than I do the others who say they never even glanced at those threads and I think you sound more sincere but I was never looking for apologies or reasons as to why the site was made..I believe in you and know your heart is pure . I never understood your deep admiration for tony/ice especially when you'd mention you got nothing but love for the man. That's all gravy as far as I'm concerned but I do say this he is a great manipulater. I'll bet Cherrie Moon Kisses never really knew how he was and he used that to his advantage here. As soon as he was accused of being prejudice he started threads about her being his new on line fling.. ( the old "see I even have a black girlfriend how could I be a bigot?" manuver) he even had Dex praising him saying as I recall "Is it a wonder why I love icenine so much"(they shared the same agnostic views)... Imagine if Cherrie or Dex saw those spearchucker threads . the coons one was oh so clever too...
As far as Rd goes anyone that has a npgmc membership can go and read how homophobic he really is in the knowledge section. That was fabricated by the likes of sosgemini and a few others like cborgman who acts like he misses rd so as not to look bad towards the folks who disagree with rd being deactivated. I personally feel like chris is happy rd is gone. I think he feels the same about Aaron.. they clashed from day one... the blame game has come into full effect in the last few weeks... the first time I heard this new dealio that rd was a homophobe (and chris I know your gonna say you never called him that ) I was lmao... of all people rd got tagged with that...

I clicked on that link, and read it... I don't find anywhere where she is condoning the ugly threats Icenine made about Pej or RD. I see that she pretty much ignored them and was suggesting who to invite next.

Does this make her evil? Does this make her guilty of the hatred Icenine spewed out?

In my book, no. All she showed was poor judgement, and then who are we to judge anybody?
