Angel In Our Eyes

When you have to try and get by.
The lights are all off,
Your familys dreams are floating by.
Sometimes do you,
Go outside to cry and wonder why?
Look up to the sky.
And wonder if,stars are souls of those who died?
That shiney one looks new,tear drops felt.
Could it be,is that really you?

Carlie we wont forget you.
The times we had
The things we planned to do.
Baby we love and miss you.

When your walking outside.
Strangers pass by,do they see pain in my eyes?
Sometimes I wish it were true.
Wish one of those people were Carlie coming home to you.
Then you could go home,go home and start anew.
Do whatever she wants to.
Walk through the park,run and play in the sand.
Hold her through the night,soft kisses upon her head.

Carlie we wont forget you.
The times we had,
The things we planned to do.
Baby we love and miss you.

Wipe the tears from your eyes.
Smile at your baby star in the sky.
Another night to get through.
No homework or projects due.
One thing you'll always do.
Think of when you might see her again.
Is there a place in the sky,by your side.
When daddy and mommy are given there wings to fly?
