It would've been a bit gratuitous, I think. The woman wasn't "elderly," as news reports cast her; and, I was surprised to note, she was black with fairly long, curly hair. She was, maybe, in her fifties. The sweeping shot that featured that blurred area seemed deliberate. "ER" featured a topless self-immolation victim, a few months ago; that, I thought, was as far as they needed to go with it. I don't think that specific aspect of realism is necessary in that show. Others would probably disagree. | |

BUT, is the cpatain hook doctor the same guy from RoboCop, the one who gets caught up in all that acid and then is hit by a car to have his head "removed" ??? | |
