Ever felt like things are moving so fast, but you find yourself remaining still.

Thats how my life is going right now, I guess its change, change in me and the people im surrounded with.. college, and where my life is headed. Its a scary feeling, im in a whirlpool of thoughts, and fear is the last thing I wanna feel.. Everyday that passes gets a little brighter, and Im content with who I am in life, Its just very hard when there is a constant bump in the road.. Im still thankful for everything in my life. Thats for sure.

Sorry for venting.. sometimes I need it.

Something that I've learned in life is that it's never a good idea to analyse yourself, or the way your life is heading. Worrying about whether or not your life is going anywhere is a sure-fire way of getting stressed about things and, ultimately, getting depressed!

The journey we take in life is unpredictable and is unique for all of us. And for that, I'm grateful! You're never remaining still. Physically, you may stay where you are, but emotionally, you learn new things everyday that build your character and will make you a better person.

Always look forward, don't look back. I could die a pauper, but if I've made the people around me happy, then I've been a success in life.

Oh, and by the way - the bumps in life are there to make us realise that we shouldn't be worrying about them.

Move forward at all times. Learn from the past, don't dwell in it.

And that ends the sermon from Haystack!

By the way, you're one of the good ones, Sdldawn.

When one has to much to do at one time, we become very discouraged. Instead of worrying about what should be done, just say: "This hour is mine. I will do the best I can."

A clock does not tick 24 hours away in one minute, and you cannot do in one hour what you can do in 24 hours. Live each present moment completely and the future will take care of itself.

Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect, it means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections... unknown

I feel like that alot sigh hug

Cutting through the darkest night are my two headlights
Trying to keep it clear, but I'm losing it here
To the twilight
There's a dead end to my left
There's a burning bush to my right
You aren't in sight
You aren't in sight

Do you want me
Like I want you?
Or am I standing still
Beneath the darkened sky
Or am I standing still
With the scenery flying by
Or am I standing still
Out of the corner of my eye
Was that you
Passing my by

Mother's on the stoop
Boys in souped up coupes
On this hot summer night
Between fight and flight
Is the blind man's sight
And a choice that's right
I roll the window down
Feel like I'm
I'm gonna drown
In this strange town
Feel broken down
I feel broken down
Do you need me
Like I need you

Or am I standing still
Beneath the darkened sky
Or am I standing still
With the scenery flying by
Or am I standing still
Out of the corner of my eye
Was that you
Passing my by

A sweet sorrow is
The call tomorrow
A sweet sorrow is
The call tomorrow

Do you love me
Like I love you?

Or am I standing still
Beneath the darkened sky
Or am I standing still
With the scenery flying by
Or am I standing still
Out of the corner
Of my eye
Was that you
Passing me by?

Are you passing me by?
Passing me by
Do you want me?
Passing me by

Do you need me
Like I need you too
And do you want me
Like I want you?
Passing me by

Are you passing me by
Or am I standing still?

ok more lyrics biggrin

No cares for me
I'm happy as I can be
I learn to love and to live
Devil may care

No cares and woes
Whatever comes later goes
That's how I'll take and I'll give
Devil may care

When the day is through, I suffer no regrets
I know that he who frets, loses the night
For only a fool, thinks he can hold back the dawn
He was wise to never tries to revise what's past and gone

Live love today, love come tomorrow or May
Don't even stop for a sigh, it doesn't help if you cry
That's how I live and I'll die
Devil may care

Sometimes it feels like life is something that happens to other people...

I think it helps if you set yourself a small task once a week. Nothing too complicated... Ring an old friend you haven't spoken to for months. Invite family around for dinner. Go to an art gallery and become inspired.

You should always make time for yourself to connect with your world. If you do, you will realise that its not as small or fragmented as you might think.

I often feel like I'm being shuffled like a deck of cards. As you get older, you may lose people and situations along the way, but there really is always something better around the corner. There really, really is... If there wasn't, all of us would give up.
