Retro Games : Midway's Defender Do any of u guys remeber the '80's arcade game, Defender. Boy the amount of 10p I shoved in this game was unreal. Anyway I found it recently on www.midway.com under the 'Play Classic Games' section.
And I just scored 115,475 not bad since I'm playing on a keyboard. Not that any of u lot care, thought I'd tell ya anyway !!  "If you really want something in this life, you have to work for it - Now quiet, they're about to announce the lottery numbers!"

I was a BIG fan of this game.....it was almost too intense!!!
U had 2...avoid the landscape, kill alien spacecraft, save the humans that were abducted...the warp option was cool, sometimes. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

No wonder I was never any good at this game! I was especially bad at shooting the aliens and then snatching up the humans...I killed many a human during my game days. I cant beleive this I'm now 34 and getting back into Defender, my kids keep asking why I'm playing such a boring game, till they try to play it.....  too hard 4 'em"If you really want something in this life, you have to work for it - Now quiet, they're about to announce the lottery numbers!"
